You know what really makes me happy?

Surrey/London border. Though I think my contingent is in Middlesex Wing territory

A day out in the hills with the Sqn. Lovely view.

Best turn out for a parade night since we returned to face to face tonight - gave me a little boost after a crisis of motivation the last few weeks.

Trying my hand at wood whittling. Enjoyed it and still have all fingers intact!

First lads night out since lockdown one. With the added bonus that I drank too much to do a shift with the baby tonight. (We have a one beer/wine rule to avoid risk of rolling onto him in bed or dropping him off the sofa). Iā€™m actually going to get more than two hours total sleep for the first time in months

As long as itā€™s not the ionic or one you can swim with should be fine.

Had Ā£120 off the sense so went with that. Feels a bit of a downgrade from my Samsung galaxy frontier but its more stable in terms of recording and connectivity.

Had 2 ionics fall apart after swimming and there are loads of people on the forums where the screen literally falls off the device. Both pool and salt water. Gone to Garmin this time and all is good so far :crossed_fingers:

Thisā€¦! This, times manyā€¦!

Looking forward to seeing how it goes.

The earlier comment from a warrant officer not happy about VoV stuff has been removed - I guess not really the place to axe grind.

I thought the original post sounded upbeat, but there are a lot of words and I donā€™t really know what a lot of it means practically for us.

With all the focus on Cyber etc I wonder if we will see programming being introduced (with raspberry piā€™s etc) for a RAFAC specific courseā€¦ I was amazed that upon asking if the school ICT departments have Raspberry Piā€™s the cadets all said they arenā€™t allowed to use themā€¦ Iā€™ve been pretty impressed with the low cost technology and you can even build your own ADSB flight trackers etc with the kit for not very much money.

I think Iā€™ve had too much coffee, coherent posts will resume shortly :joy:

I think they were looking for people to develop this as a cyber module. Seen it advertised on the training hub.

What did it say?
