My appraisal said to get a wage rise I had to get a promotion and take charge for The companies work in all of Scotland. I did that, now Imagine my reaction when I found that 6 staff were on between Ā£8 - 12k more than me and did no where near the work I did!!
We have an employee satisfaction survey meeting next wedsā¦Iām going straight for the jugular. Straw and camels back and all that jazz.

I am so glad i do not work in a ācorporateā company that does appraisals and satisfaction surveys. I cant publicly comment the things i call my director on a mostly daily basis.

We do annual appraisals with a midyear review. The only thing is, HR donāt ever get a copy and if your manager moves (Iāve had 7 in 2 years) they donāt share it with the replacement. Means I treat the appraisal meeting with the contempt it deserves and am only there physically.

Ours gets fed to HR then put into a wider succession plan. We got briefed today halfway through I just stood up and walked out back to my desk like the toddler I am.
