Difference is the generating companies are even further removed from the sales companies now.
So i pay vastly more for these middle men.
But the people with money to buy shares are getting richer

There are also parallels to draw with a couple of those companies and various scam, pump and dumps, and schemes.
There was A LOT skimmed off the top, nepotism, intricate business structures and relationships, and other questionable moves.

Iām fully aware that the rise in energy prices is causing everything else to go up, but the ball is very much in the energy companies (who are also producers) court to actually reduce prices, which will have a positive knock on across the whole economy. At the moment their actions when the price caps were raised to just change the maximum with the promise of doing the same in the future is irresponsible. If as it appears that there are many who wonāt be able to pay their bills, I do not see that it is the govtās call to give them money to pay their bills, because where does it stop, when all the while the energy companies are making money hand over fist. The energy companies have acted in a completely socially unacceptable manner and seemingly will continue to do so and expect the taxpayer to pick up the tab in more than one way.
Yes and no.
You are only rich on paper and unless you sell those shares at the right moment (hoping no one else does) and itās substantial enough for you to put into something less volatile, you only appear rich, but not in a material way.
Iāve got a pension pot that is almost at 7 figures, but if the people I have working my money get it wrong then it could be worth much, much less very quickly. Iām just hoping that they keep their eye on the ball for the next 5-6 years.

I feel you buddy. Iām back on the salbutamol a few times a day with my preventer dose doubled since having it. The actual Covid was fine other than feeling knackered and having a runny nose. The after effects can do one. Hopefully it clears up soon for you

Boss lady had it right at the beginning of the pandemic pre vaccine and it resulted in her developing Asthma. This is deffo not the same as the flu!
