You either need to not cheap out on your corkscrew, or start cheaping out on your wine.

It was my parents’ wedding present so pushing 40 years old. Finally gave up the ghost. I ended up getting it out with a pair of pliers without breaking the cork. #manpoints

Grinding my gears, home haircuts. Hopefully this is the last one.
Partner helpfully suggests he sorts the back out for me, trims a line as straight as the Amazon… leaves it all patchy and goes off in a huff when I mention maybe it could be neatened up 
HQ Home has done 4 haircuts already for me. She’s starting to get the hang of blending grade 2 into grade 4.
As lockdown hit, we did an Amazon buy, for a cheap set. It’s done really well, and I’ve saved the money on what I would have normally spent, especially when in the “real world” I would have had my hair cut more often that I’ve done this last 12 months.
I’m just letting it go wild (haircut booked for the 12th!) - course Ms. Vz did draw the line at the scraggly beard and got me a beard trimmer for my birthday in June last year 
Barbers have been open since Monday here…
Mrs J has been tending to my locks for yonks - clippers with #1 setting every 10 days or so.
Pet hate - men with top knots - very dangerous when you have a Swiss Army knife with scissors in your pocket… 
Gendered hair standards, that’s what grinds my gears.

I had a takeaway order cancelled when I was already halfway to collecting it, ten minutes before I said I’d get it.
Of course there was no indication of why, just that they ‘can’t make it.’ Nothing to say whether I could order something else, or even if they were open.
I think I’ll go back to bed.
GMG… Air Cmdr Household missed the voice final last night so Google the results, she has now taking control of the TV watching said final… Even knowing the end result.

Morning from hell.
Phones decided to stop charging so alam didnt go off so ive missed my morning routine because i have a meeting at 845 and i woke up at 843…a good thing im not in the office and my commute is 4 steps about 12 seconds…its going to be a camera off morning today.

my dept tends not to have meetings before 10, mainly for those people who have childcare etc, but is very handy for those of us who are not morning people 
Similar…needed some software activating though to do my job, although not doing that would of been an IT issue and i could of got away with doing nothing.
