You know what really grinds my gears? The Gears Strike Back

I thought I got the principle in theory, it was just when it was shown in practice I got confused (it’s been a long week) and they seemed to cram a lot of different bits in, like I’d completely forgot about one character/element and then they suddenly popped up!

As a film, I wasn’t overly impressed with it, probably because of the confusion but it kept me engaged for the evening.

That’s not a bad summary!

People coming into my office space to use the printer, because the other one doesn’t work.

Go out to look at it, and it needs a new toner cartridge… Which had been sat on top of the machine. So I changed it.

Interview tomorrow. Just discovered my iron is broken. Oh well, three piece suit and you won’t be able to tell my shirt isn’t passed over zoom.

Does the wife have hair straighteners?

Unfortunately not. Will leave it in the bathroom for showers tomorrow.

Good luck with the interview!

4 or so weeks ago, front right brake calliper starting seizing on. Took it to a garage and they charged £250 to fix it :sob:.

This week front left has started going. I’ve ordered a replacement part for £40 on Ebay. A friend will help me fit it. Much better.

GMG a nandos craving at 9am…

I’ve just had a call from the ‘National Crime Agency’ apparently my NI number is going to be suspended.

Unfortunately it was an automated message so I didn’t air my views and I hung up before they told me what I needed to do.

Spam callers :rage::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::triumph:

I’ve been getting so many recently, no idea what’s going on.

while WFH i have had the landline (what is one of those?) ring and found “Sky” call me about my broadband being unsecure. An hour later had “Virgin” call me with the same message. the following day “Sky” called again.

i keep them on the phone and waste their time, but it is worrying that some fall for it.

…and this is why I have an unhealthy obsession with Jim Browning and KitBoga!

Funnily enough I’ve just started watching his “Spying on the Scammers” series

The 4 part “as seen on Panorama” series? It’s a good one.

I try to hang such callers out for as long as possible & then tell them they have got through to the local Police Internet Fraud team… :smiling_imp:

Thats the badger, got the Panorama program on my list to watch next lol.

Still my dream way to deal with them.
