You know what really grinds my gears? The Gears Strike Back

Getting a Go Outdoors catalogue through the post and spending far longer than I should going through their website, looking at lovely things I shouldn’t buy as I’m saving for a house.

Still, I’m very tempted, particularly as with a DDS card you get an extra 15% off.

Yes, I keep meaning to do that. I always reset the tripometer when I fill up but then forgot to record it anywhere!

Where’s the masks?

Good question…

Didnt you know… they’re all exempt…

:face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

1m+ social distancing too I see… :upside_down_face:

The whole of 282 Sqn must be then by the looks of SM :stuck_out_tongue: I guess this goes back to my questions made in the return to F2F thread:

I believe the current rules say masks must be worn indoors still.

Does this only apply whilst at the squadron/unit?
If not, where does it apply?
Is it only for activities where it’s only cadets involved?
If you go somewhere not cadet-y, is it still required? (Museum, awards events etc etc)
Does the rule apply to non RAFAC personnel attending indoor RAFAC events, or is it personal choice for them?

Probably all members of the Conservative Party

Second GMG of the day:
RA refresher training doesn’t let you skip to a certain part, you need to watch all of it. ACP5 Part 2 uses old RA form so is no use.

Mandatory training of incorrect information… Why am I not surprised?

Omg…Being told to foxtrot by a member of staff in the coop when challenging why they’ve shut the post off 35 mins early…that young lady has started a war that she will lose.

I don’t think shaking your pace stick is going to work there…

Geez, you give a guy an extra W on his rank and he goes all Nauyokas at the Post Office!

Isn’t this a Post Office problem? I thought they were staffed by Royal Mail workers not Co-op.

Nope my ones staffed by Co op but royal mail fund the hours.

going for a walk along my old running route that I haven’t used in 18 months plus to find that during covid local farmer has pushed his drainage channel to what was the public footpath and not even attempted to make the ‘new’ footpath safe.

Good job I had boots on, if I had actually tried a run I would have very likely ended up with an injury :vangry:

Report it to the local council rights of way officer. They’ll have a quiet word with the farmer to sort it out.

I’ve reported a few footpath issues (blockages, overgrown etc) to various councils and they’ve all been very helpful. Hopefully yours will be too.

Getting sent two different Penalty notice for the same traffic offence (Yellow Box) because it was picked up by 2 side by side mounted cameras
Now have to go through the pain of disputing second one as I paid the 1st 3 days before 2nd was notified

Lets see what the computer say…

I got that once, one had the wrong time on (by 3 seconds). They cancelled the one with the correct time on and then conceded the other that was technically wrong the day before the tribunal. (Pretty sure it’s an illegal box as well but it’s a nice earner for them so they probably didn’t want to test that)

Trying to plan moving house and sorting out hiring a van. £££ :rage::sob:

Have a look at the Hertz 24/7 App - I found them very reasonable and flexible too - provided you have one fairly close to you to collect. I have used them on several occassions.

Thanks, I looked at their website earlier and it was winding me up as it was being super slow. Unfortunately they don’t have any that close. My partner is having kittens at the idea of driving a Luton truck and I think if I tell him he needs to collect it from the city centre it will send him over the edge. Ideally we’ll find somewhere we can do it. Enterprise would be perfect location wise but they want a lot more that other companies.
