Same for me tonight. Both parts were ‘normal’ watching for me as I watch a lot of crime stuff. Up until the interview with the eldest child. That was really hard to listen too.
Yeah the ugly kane interview is enough to change the coldest of hearts
Time for something else. Warship: Life at sea!
Snap…what a laugh!
Maybe without Jonah Hill it might be decent
Most of them on my local FB pages train their sights firmly on “soft” judges. I don’t have the patience to argue with them
That got me as well.
So Mrs P and I are working though over time a list of the “top 1000” films you ‘must’ see before you die.
As listed in 2020.
Last nights…
“If…” 1968.
Well worth a watch, for a detailed explanation into public schooling…
Accidently watched 11 episodes of the US Office today… Opps
Girlchild has been on a mission since Christmas to read The Hobbit and LoTR. Yesterday she finished them…
Looks like I’ll be spending the rest of the year watching the films!!!
Parenting done right! (Especially the reading the book before watching the film part)
Still better than the UK version.
Only opening skit in the US version I ever skipped was the Gervais cameo
I know Gervais still produced the US version, but he really is repulsive, isn’t he?
He and Merchant are genius writers. But how they have convinced everyone they can act is beyond me.
Merchant’s cameo in cemetery junction is a case in point. It should not have been in the film.
The UK version was very well written and worked at the time, the fact that Gervais can’t act doesn’t really matter in the context of the show as their is enough talent to carry him through.
I understand the argument. But I just find Gervais so thoroughly unwatchable that I can’t put myself through it. Whereas even at his most cringeworthy, Michael Scott was always compelling.
The first season which was a rip off of the uk shows isnt great… But after that its awesome
Also Cousin Mose was writer on the show as well as toby and ryan.
I only managed two episodes of the US office before giving up. Which is one and a half more than I managed of the UK version
Seriously juat get through the first season
Yes.
Agreed. Wholeheartedly.
Just cringe worthy.
