Ive just finished Masters of the Air.

Its no band of brothers but it is great. They beat BoB on the concentration camp scenes, that was hard watching

I realised after posting this that my boss is there for a long weekend right now, due to fly back later tonight. She timed it well.

Anyone else getting a good laugh hearing the way “Birkbeck McMillan” is pronounced on University Challenge tonight?

Sounds like a chicken clucking.

This was a whole thing on Radio 1 a while back with Greg James!

I’ve not listened to Radio 1 in ages (I’m waaaay too old now), but that was a good laugh.

I’m still immature enough to enjoy Innuendo Bingo too.

“Top Gun: Maverick” on Channel 4.

Getting really annoyed by some of the errors. “In violation of multilateral NATO treaties” is the line that’s bugged me most.

A) all NATO treaties are multilateral.
B) NATO treaties hold no authority over third party countries.
C) NATO treaties don’t stop uranium enrichment.

Damn it, Hollywood.

Just about to watch a load of incredibly rich people swimming in fecal saturated water.

Sorry, I mean The Boat Race.

Until NATO gets called in to solve third party screw ups like Yugoslavia who were not part of NATO.

About the only thing more boring than watching F1.
:military_helmet::military_helmet:

I quite enjoy it when it’s close, but neither race was today.

There’s a mile of difference with F1 though. Mainstream motorsports are just people going around quickly in circles; almost as bad as NASCAR!

Well, it is Easter.

Surely walking dead would be more appropriate

We always watch the Life of Brian

Fast X.

Just glad I didn’t pay to see it at the cinema!

Star Trek Discovery Season 5 episode 1 and 2 (both released yesterday) Won’t give any more details here for spoilers but a good start and I’m looking forward to next week.

Also it’s First Contact Day Today so Live Long and Prosper

A bridge too far, a proper war film.

Just finished with the original Casino Royale from the 60s.

Wow. You can really tell that LSD was popular at that time; it’s more Austin Power than Austin Powers!

Just finished season 2 of halo on paramount. Seems to be closer to the lore but it felt like it used the music more in the first season (all though the proper them music was back)

Halo itself looks amazing
