I do wonder what was actually discussed. Hopefully it’s just Mark Rutte knowing how to play Trump like a fiddle. Suck up to him and pretend to give him the world, but then do nothing.
I think the EU pulling out of the other trade deal may have been a big force to stop some of his nonsense.

The fact that it very much seems to be the case, or the fact that the majority of the US government apparatus (hell and a good chunk of the citizens of his party) seem not to care.
