Our wing is the same, but we are just running the activities. Mostly walks and some canoeing. (Although no one told me about the canoeing we ran? And i was on the Dart anyway.)
Yep. Its horse poo
Lol, just get on with it like everyone else is
Duh.
But doesnt make the policy less horse poo
Go on then you do it. I have said this to so many people over the last few months and they have all shied away as anyone with an attogram of intelligence, knows it ain’t as simple as people like to suggest.
The problem remains the advice is based on probability and inference which isn’t and never will be sound science, add into the mix the variability everwhere a one size fits all measure doesn’t exist, but in order to control the muppets it’s what is needed. So any decision cannot be taken lightly and not IMO solely on what the “experts” come up with. Hence the delay.
Why on earth someone just doesn’t say we’ll look to reopen at Easter given the uncertainty eludes me completely. Although this time put all the permanent staff on short hours. Why they weren’t furloughed in March escapes me.
It’ll please the “experts”, the media and thumb wagglers, they’ve been gagging for it since the first one ended.
Mind you the divs have done all they can to make it happen. No doubt loads of idiots dancing around outside pubs, rather than just going home or for a kebab, burger, chips, chinese or indian, if they’re open.
By “experts” you mean, the actual qualified experts who work for the government’s own scientific advisory committee?
I’d rather listen to them than your own ill informed nonsense.
Why on earth would you furlough civil servants? They’re already paid by the government, so putting them on furlough and claiming money back from the government would be nonsense. Maybe redeploy them to other tasks but furlough would be pointless.
I’d planned to return to parades on Tuesday. It all seems a bit pointless now.
And this is exactly what happened in other areas of public service - lots of re-deployment.
NYA say they will update Monday/Tuesday so we will see.
Update almost certainly will be to red.
Given that the NYA guidance seems to focus on what’s going on in England I wonder how HQAC will respond when Wales is released from lockdown after next week. Will we be allowed to carry on with trying to get back to F2F?
Seeing as HQAC is in England and they will all be bye byes. I guess not
Gov site has been updated and says most youth work will cease. Mostly just one to one work continuing.
I fail to see how they can’t work from home…
They can barely work from the office, let alone from home.
