I’m up to date on my mandatory training now. (Minus Climatics which we will do as a oner with the kids on Monday on Teams)
I was reasonably impressed with the quality of the security and safeguarding courses, at least they actually forced me to learn, unlike Fire, which ‘completed’ as soon as I downloaded the powerpoint.
I just wish I could set the reading speed a bit quicker.

I found with Safeguarding I’d read it all and was still stuck on the screen for another 30 seconds or so until I could progress… Quite frustrating really.

Think I had to download it about 15 times because ultilearn wouldn’t mark it as completed

I thought the safeguarding one was pretty good but it failed to update my ultilearn record for me even after 3 attempts. In the end it was raised as a BADER issue. I know a few people who had the issue.
Most the organisation had the same issue
i am with MrTomMorrow - i thought the Safeguarding material and course style was one of the best i have seen - made me read it, made sure i knew the material with tests throughout, was interesting to look at (modern) and wasn’t dry in the material

The safeguarding must be a generic source as I did something very, very similar, but without the Air Cadet branding a few years ago. God knows why we need the Air Cadet branding as it is irrelevant to the content. The Prevent one is a Home Office one which I have now done 3 times and IMO has been the most relevant thing I have done under the safeguarding label. Thankfully it wasn’t infected with Air Cadet branding.
If it makes no difference why are you moaning about it?

Further, using phrases like “infected with Air Cadet branding” makes me wonder why he’s even still here.
There are plenty of issues worth complaining about. The content of some of the training for example is decidedly sub par…
Complaining about the inclusion of our own branding in our own courses seems to me little more than the ramblings of a lunatic.
