Can anyone clarify the covid position on Car Parking etc as seen a Sqn car parking on insta today? I was under the impression it was a no no currently

That wouldnt have been a certain Sqn based in the south east area… I saw that also.

Checklist says a big NO to events where public are present.

How are these Sqns getting away with it?

I do t o is the official position, but as a sole outdoor activity I wouldn’t see why it should be an issue.

Car parking is not allowed at present.
Specifically mentioned as a no in list of activities in RtA annex.

If I did soemthing like that, wexo would use my balls to clean their car with. Actually quite rightly so.

So how do other Sqns just do these things… for a start it requires WHQ sign off at present.

Someone, somewhere hasnt done their job.

Item 24 in the return to F2F is ‘Support to local communities and civic evets’ and it says it’s not allowed. When you say south east can you be more specific as I might then know who it is :stuck_out_tongue:

I would suggest it comes under Return to F2F Guidance Annex D Serial 24

Support to local communities and civic events - Not authorised - Insufficient control over personnel safety

Might be one for @wdimagineer2b

well yeah

Why? Are they that wing?

If so.
Execute plan D.

D for dob.

I initially criticised our Region for everything off unit still needing to go via Region, but the advantage is that it’s a member of Permanent Staff who holds all of the risk for activities at the moment.

It’s either a VoV question or direct up the CoC (into the ether)

It’s pretty shocking tbh

If people keep pushing the boundaries, we’ll end up with more onerous restrictions, that’s been said elsewhere in the youth provision world too…

Someone has to be first with these things mind; it could well be the first activity of its type to test the actual feasibility.

If it is duly authorised fair enough.
