When I did it via OASC I received confirmation via WHQ as they were advised on the weekly spreadsheet.

Subsequently received an appointment letter about 2 weeks later from HQAC that included Initial Kitting / MOD 90 paperwork.

Letter took 8 weeks to arrive for me!

From OASC or WHQ confirming?

OASC…

That matches me and seems to be “standard” allows time for the RCs to review the failures and override that if they choose.

Congrats :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m somewhere in the process between Wg filter (4 weeks ago) and Rgn board. I don’t mind waiting, but my memory isn’t what it once was and trying to retain the requisite level of RAFAC/RAF knowledge whilst also studying for a masters is interesting…

I have sent you a message regarding this

Has anyone done OIC recently over Teams? I am just wondering how interactive the day’s are going to be?

Pretty interactive - Credit where it is due to ATF, they’ve made it as good as they can do.

Also interested by this. Does it have to be done in a chunk at a particular time or could one do it in the evenings say?

You have to block out 2 and a half days midweek.

The first two days are 0900 to 1700 and the third day 0900 to 1500.

It is a set course and you’ll receive JI’s and you wear uniform.

Unless you haven’t had your initial kitting through and you can wear a collared shirt or polo shirt.

Is this a recent change or maybe just for OIC?

My units adj queried this with ATF due to patent station not allowing anyone to visit due to lockdown and was told for SSIC that uniform must be worn

This was relaxed from January 21 by OC ATF. If you haven’t had your initial kitting, you can attend your course with suitable smart civilian attire.

Am I likely to be able to get on one in the Easter holidays?

Friend of mine has booked their OiC. For them the first available course was June.
