I still see RAF personnel wearing the L/W Jackets tucked in, some untucked.
Even seen a MAC walking round in MTP with a chip hat….

My mates in the RAF got told there all going to be issued with barracks to wear on bace then the jackets just for field deployments. As CFAVS are going to be issued MTP I would probably see this same thing happening in the future.

Strictly speaking, the barrack shirts are part of the new ‘utility uniform’, to be worn with issued stable belts in lieu of the old working blue shirts and only by the trades (now professions) that wore them.
I’m not in one of those professions and I’ve been able to order barrack shirts through the system: so I suspect they will become more widespread. However, in the summer, it’s a lot easier to take a jacket on and off than it is to keep tucking and untucking a shirt — so I can see both sticking around.

Barracks shirts increasingly worn interchangeably with UBACS on ex by army and RAF, both with and without body armour. Barracks shirts getting modified frequently too.

Has the ability for cadets who have completed the DTC(I) to wear the non fancy clasped white belt been lost?
Also how soon is gold drill PTS going to be a thing? (Is it already a thing?)

As far as I am aware it was a permitted thing within the previous versions, it made a clear distinction between the simple clasp vs the RAF buckle white belt and who was authorised to wear what.
No it never was, that was a localism
