Changelog was always an issue. This feels good to me.

There is a feedback form

So feel free to add feedback, the sponsor on this one shouldn’t be there so just put yourself or me. Same goes for you @Tornado

The sponsor bit is only for the I want to put pink tutus in 1358 form, which is a separate one, this form is for this paragraph doesn’t make sense etc

Am going to be honest I thought this new version was going to be horrible. But after a quick look it’s seems like some really positive changes are happening. (Cadets not being allowed to untuck MTP am guessing is due to the shirts not being the best sizes)

Legitimately the only reason. Don’t want MTP Dresses

Pretty minor but there’s a paragraph about something needing OC Wg/WExO/some other people approval which is explicitly (paraphrased) approval must be given by him.

I assume an accident but seems needlessly irking for the not male OC Wgs and WExOs etc

:joy: Makes sense and am glad someone else through the same thing when it was suggested for cadets to wear them untucked.

It’s really nice to have a DPM retirement date as well. Even if it hurts for some people to let it go.. But it’s about time

Lots of little things that need fixing so that’s why we are rewriting it from scratch along side

Ahh fab, would you still like feedback form submissions for stuff like that or just a “trust that we’re on it” deal?

@AlexCorbin Is they going to be a shere point post for cadets to provide feedback?

Still bang it in

It’s only via the DPSG hub at the moment. But will explore for future

Still not sure on the CFAV / Cadet untucked issue.

From a uniformity point, as a CFAV you’ll be around the cadets more than regulars…or even the likelihood of stepping on an RAF Base for some of us.

So I would have though uniformity amongst our own organisation would have been better, than for CFAVs to be paired with the RAF.

At an event, the public would think we’re being scruffy, compared to the cadets.

Just my 2 Cents.

Uniformed CFAVs have always worn the RAF uniform, cap badge, light blue shirt (including short sleeves), etc. rather than wearing the same as cadets (recognising that CIs wear cadet uniform for RM, etc.)

A well fitting untucked l/w jacket is still going to look smarter than an oversized one that’s tucked in.

Tucked in/out!!

I see RAF service personnel with barrack shirts in and out, no commonality.

They shouldn’t be. Barrack shirts are in.

I’ve never seen this, always tucked in for barracks

Did i miss when the RAFAC TRF was renamed a “formation badge”?

first time i have seen “formation badge” used is in V5…

ETA: oddly on page 156 it is referred to as both…!

It should never be referred to as a TRF as cadet forces aren’t tactical. Only the RAF TRF, worn by RAFVR(T), should be referred to as such.
