I wonder if PSG have made their money back from Messi memorabilia?
I seem to recall when Ronaldo joined Real Madrid they said they recouped the not inconsiderable transfer fees back just in shirt sales in a few days.
It’s a 2 Year Contract at £1million a week apparently.
They need to get £104 Million to cover the costs. I don’t see it myself, they might just get Messi on the PSG Shirt now instead of Neymar so is it actually new money coming in?
Waiting for Lukaku to sign for Chelsea, I’m pretty keen to add him into my Fantasy Squad, so hope its before the deadline so I can do the juggling with no transfer limits
If a shirt costs £80 that’s 1.25M shirts and I know people with at least 2 shirts for their favourite player and seem to buy them religiously each season, they’ll get their money back and if you add in the other ‘memorabilia’ , £100M+ easy over 2 years. I imagine lots of little PSG fans, want a Messi kit, which won’t be cheap.
