You beat me too it!
That would make it exciting, all down to position on the last race.

Just to add some more Drama back in

That’s an almost Christian Horner level ofTrolling and complaining

Saw this doing the rounds, gave me a good chuckle

So those penalties make things a little tasty today and for the impact to the championship

Yep, makes things bit more exciting.
Max having to push through, but then we’ve got Galsey and Alonso fighting too strong text

I wonder how much a fight Bottas will put up this time to hold Max behind him?

Surprised Bottas managed to get that back to the Pits

Was, was almost like he was setting off fireworks out the back back his car.

Reckon we will see Alonso on the podium?

Shame about the VSC, is was good for Alonso but I would’ve liked to see Norris have a good run at the Ferrari’s and the Aston Martin’s

Yeah the VSC just set the positions really.

Those kerbs we’re just destroying the tyres though, so many punctures.

Sad news about Sir Frank Williams. This is a great video I always remember him for:

Will it all be decided today?

That’s awful stewarding.

How does it take 4 laps of SC for the red flag

Saw this on the Guardian live coverage:

“This race is a perfect demonstration of why it is so fraught to compare the great drivers of this era, Hamilton included, with the greats of the past, and apply labels like Greatest Of All Time. It is entirely plausible that Verstappen will win several drivers’ titles and himself be part of that G.O.A.T. conversation in a decade and a half. Yet had he been racing in the 50s, 60s, 70s or 80s, he’d be dead by now.”

Not untrue.

In the same way that Sebastian Vettel said it was impossible to compare F1 drivers of the 21st Century with those of earlier generations as it was a different sport.

It would seem not, was both exciting too watch and less so all at the same time.
The numerous SC/VCS and 2 red flags kept it exciting but once that calmed down seemed to be follow the leader for the most part.

Max brake checking Lewis was a bit of a daft move when he was told to give the position back citing “confusion” as the excuse seems a bit of a cop out, he was still on the racing line when he was slowing down.

I think giving him a 10sec penalty post race is pointless, surely it should have been a grid-penalty for the next race.

Yeah that was odd, especially considering they red flagged FP2 when Leclerc did the same thing.

I must say though having 3 standing starts in one race is exciting,

Bring on next weekend when it’s an all or nothing finale!

I forgot to add, I would have like to have seen more of the battle between Ocon and Bottas on the final lap.

That overtake right before the line!

I really don’t like that guy can change tyres under a red flag. Especially when they take all day to make that decision so everyone else has pitted under the safety car.

Yeah I kind of agree, but then Merc were able to get the benefit of that in a previous race.
Repairing damage makes sense but getting a free pit stop does seem a little unfair.
