Death of HM Queen Elizabeth II

And I’ll be searching the screen for that black box. Try and crate you

I see the Scouts are there to help look after anyone needing assistance.

Oh dear, but why am I surprised, I bet the SCC and ACF are there as well.

Found a still from a video from years ago where I route lined for her visit to Cosford. Upsets me I can’t be there over the next few days.

His Majesty the King and Prince of Wales looking resplendent in their RAF uniforms, such a sad occasion to wear them but proudly so.

God save the King.

Currently staying clear of Twitter. (luckily I only use it for the sqn page).

It’s clear that freedom of speech for some, means they feel they have to have a voice.

You need to read the thread on the Queue - it’s become tourist attraction in itself.

What finer monument to the late Queen can there be? But the quintessential Britishness of a good old queue.

Just seen the live stream, and the guard fainting.

I completely feel for him, and I felt the face plant where I was. I hope they are OK.

Rekon im being an idiot…

Didnt the Govt announce queuing for the lying in state could reach 30 hours. Over 10 miles.

Why are they pausing the queue then at 5.5 miles and 14 hours?

Logistics, & now there is a queue for The Queue.

This is starting to get a bit metaphysical

Apparently they’ve run out of space in the park for the queue to avoid it spilling even more around the streets?

I’d be really annoyed if I’d travelled from far to be told it is paused.

Yeah but when this waa first announced the bbc showed a graphic of a 10 mile queue along the thames.

Just curious what changed

The dystopian nature of the queue makes this meme even more appropriate.

That alone was a major change, it was always planned on no more than 5 miles and 12 hours. They are having to make it up as they go along.

There is 6.9 miles to the park I believe, then 3 miles of snaked queuing in the park itself.

There’s a queue to get into The Queue, and the new queue had been dubbed “Queuey-2”, which I like.
David Beckham has been spotted in it, has been there since 2am, and has been buying food for those around him.

And just seen the speech HM The King has delivered in Wales in Welsh. Fair play on that, not easy!

I have also heard it called Line of Duty and the Elizabeth line. I think I prefer QE-II (queuey 2) though.

According to some reports there was a queue for the queue for the queue.

The wife and I are going to a service tonight for Her Late Majesty. Makes up for being unable to travel to the capital.

Question for you WWO / AP1358 savants.

I’m planning on going in Civvies. No1 doesn’t seem appropriate as I am “poorly, not well” and I don’t fancy being the only one in a blue suit in Aldershot…

Would medals be appropriate? I’m planning on suit with medals. I don’t have a full rack. Just a paltry two for services rendered, I don’t want to take attention away, but conversely, I want to honour HMTQ for her services.

Answers on a postcard please.
