Cadets out at Murrayfield today for the 6 Nations:
Central and East Yorkshire Wing (and probably wider than that) had a fantastic Chinook flying day at RAF Leeming yesterday.
Some of mine (and a member of staff) got up and they’re so hyped. It’s wonderful.
My sincerest thanks go to the RC, TSA, WAvO, and other staff who came together to make that happen.
Amazing work and all done against the clock. I’m so happy all their hard work was rewarded with good weather.
And the wing that hosts Odiham, its near impossible to get in the back of one.
This just popped up in my news feed
This is fantastic!

(ATC Cadet)
i completely agree providing it is maintained.
has the risk of being like an “employee of the month” board which has traction and interest for the first three months but tails off, and then in June the board hasn’t been updated since February…
but fair play for giving it a go and creating a public facing “recognition” format
It did make me cringe at the wonder wall pun, but I guess if it is used elsewhere in defence too
Its an over rated song too
and not using an (obviously) AI generated image
A long time coming! Nice to see some money being spent improving assets.
This is for success stories. Take the other nonsense elsewhere please.
If I create a topic could you or another admin spit our riff raft into it?
Sure, done.
My sincere congratulations to all the volunteers and permanent staff who have made the North Region camp what it is this year.
My cadets are raving about it like no cadet has raved before. And hearing their reports and seeing their photos, I can see why!
Falcons parachuted in for a visit, and a whole host of activities normally largely out of reach in the daily grind.
Well done to all of you. If you’re currently feeling slightly chuffed with yourselves, times that feeling by 10!
You’ve clearly made a lasting impact on my cadets.
