I find that it is easier if I login to my role account/SMS/Sharepoint on main browser
Then login to my personal account/Volunteer Portal in Porn Mode

You won’t be able to do that in the future. Role Accounts will just be a mailbox.
Some chosen people (@AlexCorbin / @mprentice1 ) have been part of the testing of the automation for role allocation changes.
With it working, expect to see login as role disappear very soon.
Fingers crossed this will be rolled out en masse before the Christmas shutdown and catch any other outstanding changes.

If the previous incumbents’ profile photos could also disappear from role accounts at the same time we’ll be winning!

Are people successfully getting wing/region staff accounts connecting as well, or is it just sqn ones at the moment? My CCF unit one connects fine but even manually giving permission to my personal account to view my ‘region’ role doesn’t work at the moment - I still have to log in separately.
I’ve got 2 wing accounts and 2 sqn accounts and my personal, all in the same Web Outlook tab.
Sounds god awful.

My squadron and region accounts both work fine with my personal account. Might be worth raising with your region Bader POC (if you haven’t already).

I wonder if the ultimate master plan is to abolish role accounts completely as MOD did a few years back… then introduce a few shared mailboxes (like our general accounts) that get tied to personal accounts of people in certain roles, rather than emails you can actually log in with.
I’m sure the team mentioned this at the end of a ‘getting ready’ document. It allows for one email account, the personal account, which holds allocatable mailboxes for as many hats as the volunteer has.
This allows deputies to be added to their senior’s mailbox and have the same information available to them — and work as an office team. Examples include OC Wg and Dep OC Wg, WWO and Dep WWO, and also OC Sqn and Dep OC Sqn.
Once the dust settles, consider pretend jobs that are extensions of somebody else’s, whack both (or more) in a joint mailbox.

Role Accounts are transitioning to Role Mailboxes which different people are assigned permission to access.
Some people got that at work today!!
And OneTab, which I now basically use as a place to save all tabs (but actually know I’ll probably never look at most of them ever again…)
That should have already happened.
My personal and Region accounts work fine together.
