Adding some bling to uniforms

It looks like it’s taken at CTC Frimley Park

Actually, I’m 100% sure it’s CTC Frimley Park having spent a week there recently.

Yep, I would agree, carpark and dining hall just out of shot on the left

I know this chap. Him and his wife (both are serving RAF officers) have set up their own badge company. They are also SIs (hence how I met them on a RAFAC course). They make various unit/squadrons/event badges that cadets tend to buy and put on their bags etc. They then also created officer rank badges without the dark grey/blue between the braids, and wear them to advertise their creations.

I had my no. 1s resewn with separate rank braid not composite - which was the old way - and it looks much better. Not sure about that on green though!

I actually have a set of tropical rank tabs in the correct rank - but how do I add RAFAC to them?

There’s probably no rule for that. I’d be inclined to use the lapel badges like the old VR(T) would be worn.

That will probably horrify a few people but what’s the alternative?

Are any of these relevant?

With a Sharpie?

RAFAC pins exist. If there’s a smaller version for No. 5s, they could work with rank braid.

Prefer the bottom set

Still got mine…and a set of embroidered VRT ones.

Do you have a website or social page for the company?

Companies House was no help in my own stalk?

I was looking more at the Zaps, who the hell is buying 10 identical zaps for £65?!

Seems a bit pricey

I’d want a RAFAC version of the Velcro rank patch. @Horriblelittletechie made one up for me but then I got promoted :grimacing:

I think 10 X 13 is more its dimensions
so its a single ZAP…
