Just did a Data Protection course in which use of Fax Machine took up far too much of the course content!!
By which I mean, the use of a fax machine was included in the course.

Giving other people jobs in the cabinet. This has to be one of the pointless parts of govt. As I just get images from Yes Minister, the best documentary on the British govt ever broadcast.
The same lunacy we saw in March 20 being replicated as a few petrol stations (of the thousands around the UK) ran out of petrol, so idiots all over the country are panic buying, despite being told there is no need.
There was a flap at work yesterday as a couple of local stations had run out as they hadn’t had a delivery, but they are not the only petrol stations (I pass 5 and know of 3 others) within 3 miles and this morning after overnight deliveries, and they were open again. I fully expect these people are the same ones 18 months ago wondering what they they were going to do with tens of kilos of pasta and rice and several hundred toilets rolls. When the shops got deliveries.
I think someone needs to 'ave a word with media outlets and shut down social media as these stoke the hysterical reactions. IIRC it was some numpty putting pictures of empty supermarket shelves on SM and the SM idiots thinking it was local to them, it wasn’t until they crawled out and made it so.
