Cadet absolutely adamant that the thing we’ve told them about being on Cadet Portal isn’t actually live on CP, so he can’t sign up for it.

He’s dead set that it isn’t, so comes back with his phone, we see the cadet view (novelty!) and tell him to…

Whereupon he sees the events, listed as explained.

I’ve discovered the legal advice section on Reddit. Some of the nonsense that’s get spouted on there, makes for a good giggle.

Just think, anytime you have heard the media or others outside your industry report on something you know intimately…
Think of all the errors, the mismatch detail or irrelevant information presented as important facts. How they make a complete horlicks of the entire report…
And then think; they know exactly the same amount on every other subject they report on.
Terrifying.

Indeed. And also the flat out lies they tell. I’ve seen Guardian reports on hearings that I was present in, and the reporter was present in, with complete untruths in.
what to make it worse…
When you get an email from Capita saying “We’ve found a solution to your support case - click here to find out more”
Open it and find that message followed minutes later by another from the Support person saying “sorry - we thought we found a solution - i may have emailed you too soon - it’s broken it again”.

Monday night tested our minibus batteries. Starter battery 1.4 volts, so at about 8.30pm searched the Internet for a new one. All about £100, Eurocarparts about £90. Shopped around a bit and found a discount seller, looked a bit dodgy but initial price for the exact same battery as Eurocarparts was about £60, plus they had a code for a further 17% off. I thought I’d risk it.
The next day by 1pm it has arrived, delivered by Eurocarparts 
. I love not giving big companies money that they clearly overcharge for.

They are literally Eurocarparts, but under a different name. The website is even identical! But everything is almost always a lot cheaper.

They’re definitely not dodgy then! 
It does make me laugh through that Eurocarparts can sell the same things that cheap under a different name. I guess no overhead of having physical shops.
Making me chuckle this morning was that my latest prescription has warning about drinking grapefruit juice with the tablets…probably a good thing I don’t like grapefruit then
