The answer is probably changes to Arrival and Departure routes. Our resident pilots will know about these.
These rarely change for an airport, so if you live away from one, you probably get very little traffic overhead. Adding a new runway into the mix will lead to changes in arrivals and departures, which could mean that people who rarely heard an aircraft now getting one every few minutes.

This use to happen with the L98A1 a lot.
I think it’s a damaged or not properly filled magazine so when the parts cycle it causes a flip on the round.
Similarly when you get three rounds all forced in to breech.
That’s quite clearly an obstruction, give it a good old shake…
