I see where they went wrong: they believed what they were told by a department of this government.
Having been to Ilfracombe, I would agree that it’s not a great location for the purpose unless these migrants were particularly interested in seeing a giant statue of a pregnant woman…
People in the RAFAC wet their pants over staff being in the pub in uniform.
Currently on Whitehall and the pubs are absolutely chock full of service personnel in uniform drinking beer.

He visited the customer i was meant to be training today and protocol mesnt they were told to “be free”

Well word on the street is he did tell them to listen to me cause i speak sense!
On the train home from work, I have to get the slow train as I have a small local station.
Train is heaving with school kids and at one of the major stations we are held in the platform to let the express (which stops at the town where the school is) overtake us.
It stops and loads of the kids get off and run across the platform. The driver makes an announcement “to get to X station quicker you can go and jump on the express”.
Muttering amongst the group of kids that are left debating getting off, before this high pitched confused voice goes “why would we want to get to school early?”.
Every adult on the train was giggling.

Stood outside a fairly posh hotel after having a very large cooked breakfast…
Cooking up hotdogs in a jetboil for a lunch later…thermos at the side.
