Watched out of morbid curiosity and the above is most evident when she doesn’t actually pause after “deliver” or whatever it was and was actually trying to build up to a grand, passionate finish, but was so flat and fragmented delivering it everyone thought that was it
Listening to the radio earlier, they played an extract of a speech from Liz a few years ago against today. She used the same sentence in each. It suddenly became crystal clear just how much voice coaching she’s had. And it still not enough.

You see it in so many. The issue is they are coached out of all natural flow and actions instead of enhancing natural rhythms, tweaking flow, and optimising gestures. All authenticity is lost.

I know the reason behind “The Queue” is a serious and solemn one, but all the joyfulness at just the sheer British absurdity of The Queue itself is really making me giggle.
MML? Getting my Dads pub trip group and Church Mens group mixed up on WhatsApp and replying to a message with an NSFW “joke” to the wrong one. Then finding out that we have some old guys at Church with brilliant dark and dirty sense of humour as they all attempt to outdo one another.

Ahhh, i remember making a sign when i was working for a US Company, “The Q Starts here”
They really couldnt comprehend it, ended up having to change the sign to “The line starts here”
The absurdity of the queue to see the dead ruler is making me laugh because it’s echoing the parody that is the pilgrimage to see the Emperor in 40k. Just, 38000 years early.

Eldest had her tonsils removed today. Her cuddly toy got a cannula as well. The medics all did a fab job of making her feel at ease.

How is she? My little one is having hers out next week.
At the moment feeling very sorry for herself. Lying in bed watching lots of TV and alternating calpol and nurofen. Hopefully a short term pain for a long term gain.

Best to have them out now, I hate mine with a passion, but the recovery time for an adult basically means it’s a non starter if self-employed.

Tonsils and appendix should both be removed at birth.
Senior officers at work not thinking things through when making a knee jerk decision (for the right reason) meaning loads of my staff are getting a days double time and a day back.

I’m assuming you work for the Met, a mate of mine was working on the rooftops yesterday… Ended up being relived at near 2100 after starting at 0700…
