I was on real, grippy, volcanic, rock yesterday 
(and spent the whole day with people who hadn’t even heard the score from saturday evening, perhaps they were the only people in the UK not to have done?!)

I’ll stick with indoor padded stuff until I get my confidence back I think. But I’m now at the point where I don’t think my trad rack has been used for almost two years 
having also spent 2 days paddling last week, I do now have a pretty awesome collection of random cuts / bruises / blisters on my hands…

Although still a mix and match of uniform, the majority of cadets tonight in a uniform… and certificates/badges galore from pre lockdown and during lockdown success…

My son came over from Iceland the other day and brought this souvenir for me. Its from the lava flow on the volcana that’s erupting.
Very heavy and real ‘ouchy’ rock.

After months of grumbling about my job I finally decided to apply somewhere else and got it straight away! Still in the dull grey world of IT implementation projects, but moving from a developer role to an architecture role should provide more variety at least.

Nah, last Wednesday was like a Saturday morning, nearly as good as last year during lockdown.
Didn’t see any old bill last week and I pass a station on the way in and there’s normally a few cars out and about but not last week.
No chance, everyone’s on lates to deal with the pubs,
