You know what really makes me happy?

gave in and got PS5 this time round as I just don’t have the time anymore. I was always xbox previously due to the vastly superior customer service experience I got with original xbox versus a family members experience with PS2.

Sonys service really is shocking and already have issues with stick drift :rage:

You should do it, already having problems with PS5 but thats Mrs Crazys really. Mmm does the fact she chose PS vs XBox tell me there may be more to that name  :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Need to wait for it to come into stock first

That hasn’t been a problem at all since the white 360 was replaced with the black one. My One has been super reliable.

Yeah I used to be PS mad and own a PS4 but I bought an xbox to play forza with the work team (have a guy in my team who’s 4th in the world and earns more on there than his actual job but it isn’t regular or guaranteed) and I prefer it

I bought it to play Halo 5. I was also hoping to play Halo 6 on it, but that was years ago, and it looks like Infinite will be for the One S, if it ever comes out…

Was tempted by one really to play the new Microsoft Flight Sin, but the Xbox port has gone rather quiet (I don’t have space / budget for a gaming PC rig).

I picked up a gaming laptop and use that with hdmi to 4k screen for flight sim. Was fed up using work PC for RAFAC stuff so spent the little extra over a decent none gaming one.

I did think about that, I don’t really have space for another laptop either. This WFH thing isn’t ideal!

Yeah when I first started working from home with the current job 10 years ago after a short freelance period I found my desk cluttered with my iMac, MacBook, company laptop and iPad along with a huge HP all in one printer work gave me. I have sacrificed the dining room to an entertainment room now as Mrs Crazys disabilities meant it was no longer practical so connecting the laptop to the screen is easier and means all the kids consoles are out the way.

Even have retro stuff set up in there too.

Playing Super Tennis on the SNES makes me happy

I had an ok basic sim set up before lockdown, nothing too fancy but a decent display and space for the controls. I now have the monitor/ docking station from work, and my decent display is in storage. Annoyingly although a nice screen no VESA mount so can’t put it on an arm or anything. I miss having a full size desk to work on as well, but Mrs Scout has to make do with the kitchen table so mustn’t grumble.
She also has sentries posted between me and the biscuit tin but that’s for another thread.

I have a gaming laptop, as I needed a laptop for cadet use, but HQ Home didn’t want me to have a dedicated space just for gaming.

Our house isn’t big, and we have little kids, so can just pack it away.

Not being a PC person (Mac for work) what would you or @Canoe_crazy say is a sensible budget for a gaming laptop?

Doesn’t need to have a large screen.

Happy, but unexpected - Paddlesport Leader providership. Winner.

Downside…another orientation to work through :frowning:
