You get me.
Iāve got 42 days of leave to take by the end of this calendar year (and that doesnāt include Bank Holidays or Christmas closure, etc). Currently trying to decide which months after lockdown ends that Iām just not going to turn up to work
Alright for some.
The way my workā¦ works.
I wont be having a holiday until 2022 at earliest.
Iām hoping to carry a fair bit into next year
But not sure I could achieve that much
Making me happyā¦ Premier in prices are crazy cheap atm.
4 nights in London next Jan Ā£140
5 nights in Lancaster at Xmas Ā£140
Unless theyāre so desperate for cash that they wonāt be in business by then? As long as you book on credit card, it wonāt be a problem I suppose
Thatās what Iāve done, being part of the whitbred group I canāt imagine them being strapped for cash
This is the same with flights! Been very tempted to book next years ski flights now as I can get business return for Ā£100 each way pp! Cheap as chips compared to normal.
Tell me more - I need to try and get the (new) gf onto the ski bandwagon
ACC SKI TRIP!
Iām gameā¦
Can we claim VA
Also never been skiing
if the director says so
Oohh Iāve never been skiing either but would like to try! We keep meaning to go to one of the indoors places to see if we actually like it but they are quite a trek away!
The idea of getting more into AT this year makes me happy and gives a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
@redowling if you end up with a spare Windermere week we should do an ACC AT staff development week
I used to ski on the dry slope near me regularly when I was a teenager. Then the squadron did a winter sports AT trip to Andorra and I got to ski on real snow for the first time and was blown away by how much easier it was
And considerably more enjoyable!!
Qualified instructor here.
Damn something else for my to do list!
The ducks are being lined up here
Iāve never been skiing, and I imagine any attempts would end up in me either falling off the side of something very tall or more likely breaking both legs!
