Got my regular notification that my Dropbox is almost full, haven’t used it for years, logged in and found a picture of a thank you card from a child I coached about 10 years ago, brought a smile to my face, MMH and, probably most importantly, gave me a much needed reminder right now of the value of what we do

First night away from both the kids and wife in 4 years. Only my 4th night away from the kids in that time. Just been doing Sambuca shots with Brenda Hale. My head will not be happy with lectures starting at 8 am tomorrow but hey. That’s future farmerdan’s problem

Managed to open a packet of bacon using the little pull tab. I don’t think this has ever happened before. I thought it was impossible! Normally it just tears and you have to use a knife

Chip hat arrived today. But more battered than eBay had me believe… But for £14.99, bargain.
Had to do a bit of tailoring as so no winter mode unfortunately.

I just checked mine (yes, I’m a terrible poser, but on sqn only), and while it’s definitely aged, there’s nothing identifiable within to offer any providence. Shame.

More MML. Listening to my wife ranting about JoJo refusing to refund an outfit she bought for the youngest address ago. Her reason for wanting a refund? She wanted to rebuy it and use my Blue Light discount because she forgot to ask when she bought it. She’s writing a long letter to our MP saying consumers need to be protected against nefarious practices such as this.
Genuinely expect to see a photo of her next to “Karen” on the urban dictionary
