The first one was a genuinely pleasant surprise.

Arrived late for work this morning.

Caused, because my eldest (4) had a meltdown, and cried her eyes out.

“daddy…please don’t go to work! I miss you, and want to play with you…”

Lots of explaining, and cuddles, and I’m finally in.

The wet shoulder from her tears is a reminder to me of how hard I have to work to give my girls the best in life, and also a reminder for what I look forward to when I finish work and travel home.

Not entirely sure, will check the credit card bill - right hand traffic means the unfortunate soul in the passenger seat gets the privilege of tapping the card! Last time I drove down to the South it was on for 70 quid but I’m off to Champagne this time so it shouldn’t be as bad
