The sister in law has been staying with us. Her style of parenting is largely scream at the kids until they do as they are told. With a 22 month and a 3.5 year old you can imagine how well that works, especially at bedtime.
Today she lost her car keys somewhere on our excursion to the Science Museum. I “gallantly” offered to drive from London to Plymouth and back to get the spare set from her house earning a ton of brownie points with Mrs Farmer. More importantly I got myself 7 hours of alone time along with peace and quiet. Worked through most of the audio book of the Martian and avoided her brats at bed time which this evening apparently took from 1930-2345.

A retired Grp Capt, served in GW2 
Only one … I’ve got 5 ex cadets (2 of them didn’t get beyond Sgt) doing this now and another with eyes on a Wing job where he lives now.
One of our sqn staff is a retired OC and later WingCo.
One of his CWOs is the current WC.
