Nah. He went toe to toe with Yodel. And lost.
Itās not what it was in my dayā¦doesnāt he have a gyrocopter now ?
Absolute worst was the destruction of fireman samā¦ come onā¦ why god why
I was heartbroken about the destruction of Thomas the tank into CGI
Animated Captain Scarlet
Dont get me started on Thunderbirds
I donāt actually mind New Captain Scarlet. It does look a bit dated nowadays but itās an interesting watch.
Thereās new Captain Scarlet?!
This is game-changing information for meā¦
@AlexCorbin the thin edge of the wedge with Thunderbirds was when they started removing scenes where the characters were smoking, ignoring the fact it was made in the 60s. Iāve got my 40th Anniversary DVD set, so I can watch the proper ones all the time. Attack of the Alligators - loved it as a child and still do.
@Giminion new wonāt mean good or better, look at the new so called Thunderbirds. I lasted 2 minutes during the RWC when it was on prior to a game. I saw Thunderbirds, thought great, not soā¦
Thatās the name of it. Itās actually 14 years old.
I would hardly call it newā¦ 2004.
Gerry Anderson was still alive and produced it.
Itās not too bad, actually maintains the integrity of the original show. But the modern fast paced nature of tv, precludes effective story telling.
A couple of the episodes are up there with the originals though.
Now as for Thunderbirds Are Go (TAG) what the literal have they done to my favourite tv showā¦ why do we need a Thunderbird Shadow, where the heck is Jeff and why do the Tracey brothers not use their guns anymore.
āIts Thunderbirds Jim, but not as we know itā
Yes Iām a geek + Nerd.
So sue me.
Now tell us your thoughts on the movie.
The Jonathan Frakes abortion I assume.you mean? Giving it, its correct title.
Oh no, I didnāt know he did it. I thought I liked Frakes.
ā¦Not as we know it, not as we know it. Itās Thunderbirds Jim, but not as we know it, not as we know it Jim?
After my drive home this afternoon (and changing tack slightly): people dawdling in a lane of the motorway other than the left lane when there is nothing in front of them.
You mean, it isnāt every time you venture onto a motorway?
Well yes, but Friday afternoon on the M40 always seems that little bit worse.
Why not just pass them, if there is room, on the inside lane(s).
I do. At 70.
