Because last time i was here it was included. Then providers then used Brexit as an excuse to pull back in roaming charges.

Yeah, when the EU mandated the free roaming, everyone included Turkey too. The big providers stopping free roaming is one of my biggest GMG about Brexit 
Iāve moved from 3 to Smarty just because of that. Smarty still do free roaming, and uses the 3 network.

Pays to negotiate because otherwise they rip you off.
Was on a pre Brexit tariff payin Ā£60 a month for four phones - 3 with 1GB and 1 with 10GB ut able to share and inclusive roaming for all - Many years of Inflation plu 3.9% a year increases
Told then I was leaving as their current contracts were much cheaper but did not have roaming included but paying for raoming did make make sense.
So they gave me all 4 with 25GB and inclusive EU roaming for Ā£40
They just keep taking your money unless you askā¦

Iām SIM only so still on my pre-Brexit contract, last time they tried to put the price up we discussed it and they decided not to and that I was keeping my roaming.

Thatās what I had with 3 until recently! Was paying Ā£8 a month, rolling monthly, for 50GB. Been with them for over a decade, and constantly got the price lower, not higher. But the roaming thing stopped, so a week in France cost me like Ā£20 or something. Defeating the cheap rate.
Itās a lot of fuss over a small amount, but for me itās the principle of it.
Well then. Might be time to leave Chrome for another browser.
Still going strong on Firefox. Moved over a few months ago when Google revealed they were changing how extensions works so I was ready. Now I have no reason to ever return.

Second shout for Firefox.
Ublock, ABP & VPN extensions still working perfectly. Makes me laugh when I see people moan about adverts on YouTube - I genuinely donāt remember seeing one for several years - desktop or mobile.

Today on GMG:
Double standards when it comes to camp planning and approval. When its a squadron led event of a similar size/complexity, we were hounded by region requiring approval 3+ weeks in advance, and constant evaluation.
However, when a regional team run it - theyāre a week out and have had 0 approval, 0 cadets selected, and doge paperwork (at best).
Who would that be?
In terms of what? I woudlnāt feel comfortable publicly naming another volunteer, just wanted to get it off my chest

For wider context. The event is being actively looked at for assurance, but some constant delivery issues are still being worked on.
Largest of those is the volunteer. Constant changes, drop outs and adjustments.
Second, being the cadets. OCs saying they meet the requirements, then actually not, so having to rearrange. Then finally getting the ok that they are going, to drop out the next day.
Third, is the frustration with the current IT systems. Cadets are at bidding, because they cant be changed. The system isnt letting us (reported).
So allocations are being done via email tennis.
Huge issues with DTE, that there was a risk of Canx.
Then issues with RAF support.

However, comms is open between assurers.
I get frustrations at sqn level (im still on a unit, so i feel your pain!), but we are actively working through them.
Iāve found that, while there is a bug with management of bidding; if you go through the process of managing the bids and setting cadets as accepted or rejected, save it then close the popup and refresh the page you should find that the cadet statuses have updated.
Wonāt even come up with the page to move the statusā¦even after refresh.
This is the same on multiple accounts.
Check if you have a cadet bidding from Unit X but unit X is not listed on the invited units tab
