Very intermittent access just now. I can get in for a few mins then it crashes then I can get in for a few mins and so on
Do they usually do this or is it a one off? Potentially could be a welfare issue (or maybe just a lazy Cadet

Don’t see the problem, we all have things that come up and forget to tell people. Annoying but that’s about it.
Yes but we all know you’re a delight.
If you can log on to cadet portal and withdraw your name from something, an email takes 2 minutes more. It is good practice, professional, respectful, courteous and acknowledges the hard work that goes in to something. I wouldn’t expect you to know anything about the qualities I’ve listed though.

Spend most of the program talking about how the contestants were as cadets/scouts etc. Doesn’t have to be true just over technical & nerdy.
E.g. Like she was really good at
drill, he was a bit lazy, that one was a police cadet, those two would be good together as she was a sea cadet & he was a Marine. You can tell by the way she walks she’s a tick-tocker etc
Soon switch off
