You know what really grinds my gears? The Gears Strike Back

Know it well
Worked all along it’s length from the origins right down to where it becomes the ocean and onwards

Away with work and I’ve given a hire car for the journey and it’s like what I imagine driving a bus is like. It’s awful. Also needing to remember I’m not in an automatic.

I think there needs to be a H sign like an L, P etc for hire cars so everyone knows you are getting used to it so may be a bit dodgy!

name and shame the car model!

Renault Captur

I’m sure some will love it, but not me!

Yee gods!

I was given one of those once. Luckily it was for an early morning airport run, so had it for 45 minutes and promptly dumped it at the hire kiosk.

Hay-fever.

That’s not too bad! I’ve got to do 2 X 2hr journeys so not dreadful but I’d rather not. I’m not sure what about it annoys me, they’ve given me much bigger cars and there have been no problems. The display screen is weird, all pressing, no buttons even for volume which most have a dial for still. Also, when you turn the car off, get out and lock it, the screen remains on for about a minute making you worry you haven’t actually turned it off and are now draining the battery!

Finding out that Disney+ have cancelled the second series of The Right Stuff. :rage: :rage: :rage:

Oh no really?!

That was really excellent. Or at least I thought so.

Not even mid day and the workshop is hitting 28C already. This is more than GMG :cold_sweat::sweat_smile:

Yeah, apparently Warner Bros are trying to persuade HBO to take it on.

I should be so lucky. I’m prosecuting a LIP for blue badge fraud.

Requesting a refund for a festival cause of this damn pandemic :frowning:

GMG. Fingerprint sensor on my work phone is broken. So now I have to enter an uber complex password using a keyboard the size of a postage stamp because ā€œfingerprint sensors are not a priority fixā€.

They probably would be if they realized the costs in terms of lost productivity. But, of course, that’s not their budget, so they don’t give two hoots.

It’s raining, take it outside and put it in a puddle, it will be a priority when you stop using it.

Wife let the 3 year old get his own (sugar free) ice lolly out of the freezer yesterday lunchtime and didn’t check he’d shut it. I’ve just had to throw out Ā£100 or so worth of meat that has been defrosting in the hot weather for 36 hours. :pensive: Including a couple of lovely venison steaks I’d been looking forward to at the weekend.
