You know what really grinds my gears? The Gears Strike Back

Company we got a quote on do that but it’s with their governing organisation rather than the company itself

i’m sure you’ve done your research, but for preparation, etc, you could be paying at least £120 / sq m for a resin drive.

[Note the spelling mistakes on their page… the “profecsionals.” ]

A block paving drive is likely to be more expensive, but durability / looks likely to be much better.

There is a Government “guidance on the permeable surfacing of front gardens” - primarily for consideration of run-off water to the drains. However, I think this applies primarily to converting a front garden or similar to hardstanding, rather than an existing driveway BUT note:

If you plan to replace an existing driveway that is over five square metres using surfacing that is traditional and therefore non-permeable, planning permission will have to be sought. We recommend using porous materials or a thorough drainage plan and system alongside traditional materials.

The abortion that is “Without Remorse” I’ve waited almost 30 years for this to be a film and it just a crime of poor cinema by Amazon!

It’s not as good as the book.

But it’s an ok film. Rainbow six next. Which I hope will better.

Oh man o man if they were to ruin R6 there would be bad times coming their way.

I did like the Ritter character. I’m curious as to who will be R6. I love the book and the original pc game. Not a fan of what it has become these days.

I hope they don’t balls up the Malloy character or the Chavez team dynamic. Fingers crossed.

They utterly ruined Vince Flynn’s American Assassin. So I wouldn’t hold out hope for R6.

They were rumoured to be doing it with Tom Hardy at one point.

I’ve just seen the trailer for this one (having forgotten about it being made).

I won’t be watching the film.

Now that might’ve worked, although I actually really like Michael B Jordon, but the real issue for me it still needed to be set in the correct time period and they have just changed the storyline far too much.

They looked at setting it in that period.

They were worried that viewers wouldn’t be able to follow the Vietnam story.

So they decided to update it with Afghan. It’s nice they didn’t keep mess with the Jim Greer character. They only mentioned him.

Gmg… Pure jealousy, the GFs cousin getting a spanking new mini and 15k diamond ring for her 18th and me here struggling to scrape together mortgage deposits

Probably will have to end up pawning the Diamond ring to pay for the continued garage bills for keeping a mini roadworthy.

Daddy’s 6 million pound mortgage free house will cover that

If it’s spanking new then it’s not a Mini. Non have been made since BMW bought the brand name.

Indeed I do. I just get sad about what they did to the car. I had a Mini Mayfair for my first car and loved it. I drove one of the new ones and it was just meh

I don’t have particularly strong feelings about Minis but the Countryman is just an affront to the concept of smallness.

I think they have a cheek to call it a mini, parked next to one and there wasn’t much size difference to Mrs Crazys Scenic. I didn’t have one but a few mates did that I drove, loved the go cart like feel. One of the group had a new one and didn’t enjoy it.

What’s the betting that the now-cancelled ACLC courses will stay live on SMS all year…?
