Don’t have to actually do any damage if you only need to tell your population that you did.
I’m thinking along the lines of dueling, the US hit them they hit back honour is satisfied. That’s basically what they did with the drones against Israel last year.

She’s a hardcore, though-and-through, MAGA Trump nut job. If she’s being critical of him publically, then there really are problems within the Republican Party over this. Which is unsurprising. He said he’s the peace president. That he’d stop the war in Ukraine in his first week and would never get involved in anything else. He’s gone completely against that by getting involved in Iran.
