What are you watching?

Id echo @Baldrick

It’ll definately help the backstory and understanding the dynamics and the who’s who of the characters.

Rebels really gets into its stride after S1

Just finished The Bear on Disney, some seriously underated TV

It’s amazing!

How good was the Stage episode?

Is that the christmas one? That triggered my anxiety, so much going on so quickly

The one where they send Richie to the other restaurant.

The Christmas one was horrifically good TV.

Yeah loved every minute of that, ending it with a really chilled Olivia Coleman was perfect

I’ve rarely seen a more believable episode of TV that managed to completely turn around a character in that fashion.

It’s been excellent so far. Episode 3 made me think of proper old school star wars, A New Hope style. Better than nearly all of Andor, most of Boba Fett and some of the Mandalorian.

Dangit @daws1159, i want to watch Entourage now

So I’m just starting this. On episode 2 and looking great so far

Curse of the Black Pearl

Might have to watch the others over the weekend

So wanted something simply & fun to watch so restarted watching the Matt Smith ‘a Doctor Who on iPlayer.

Forgotten how clever it was especially when it gets to the impossible astronaut episode. Genuinely unsettling aliens & very clever plotting & quite fun to boot

I thought the Matt Smith era had the best production value, even though David Tennant was a better doctor.

Capaldi was the best of the new doctors. He was just given utter poo to work with by the writers

I was so disappointed they didn’t just let him play it as Malcolm Tucker with sci-fi substitute swear words.

I liked him but I prefer Matt Smith which may be also due to both the stories & strength of the ensemble.

As much as I tried, didn’t really like Jodie Whittaker’s tour but that was really obviously due to writing quality, the companions were quite 2Dimensional & it just ended up as mess of meh & a wasted opportunity.

I’m really looking forward to what’s coming next under Russell’s return

Interestingly one of the plans when they fired Colin Baker was to use the regeneration to bring back Patrick Troughton to act as care taker for a bit & shore up the foundations.

Interesting that is exactly what they have done by using David Tennant, (I would have preferred Matt smith but Russell didn’t write with that character so it makes sense)
