I was very surprised by how much I’m enjoying it.

Gotta love a good musical.
UFO found it after a late night channel flick last week. I love the fact it was set in 1980, just 10/11 years from when it was made. Gerry Anderson was being a tad optimistic. The cars that looked really futuristic at the time, you now know are completely impractical and LHD in the UK. Mind you I think like most of his programmes Gerry Anderson seemed to aim at the US market, even with Thunderbirds.

Watched the last part of vigil… I think they could of ditched half the episodes….
But I have been sitting the last few weeks trying to work out the police station why I knew it…but I just couldn’t place it… it was one of the colleges I went too!!

Last Mountain on BBC2, really interesting viewing.
No ‘think’ about it.
Pretty much 95% of all the land based stuff, flash backs and daughter story could have been binned.
Would have benefited the series no end.
Should have been a decent fast paced 3 episode drama. Not strung out to 6 episodes.
A solid 5/10 from me.

Got round to watching the final episode, I think I agree with most of the above. Same information in 4 episodes or a better set of 6 episodes could have been better. Ending was a bit ‘meh’ for me! I’d still rate an 8/10 though.
I agree that most of the dead husband, custody of step daughter, mental health problems and relationship with the DS added nothing other than ticking boxes of what a lead role must always have these days. Cut that out and save at least an episode. However it was still a great watch.
