Watched 1917 for the first time tonight… Wowsers

1917 is my favorite film, mainly because of the technique they used to make it look like it’s all one long shot.

Quite easy when it is! (please don’t ruin the magic for me, I still want to believe it is one shot)

Isn’t there a time skip in it? That felt kind of crummy to me when I saw it.

After Dunkirk, I was a bit apprehensive about 1917 but it turned out a very good film

Bad Boys

I didn’t notice any cuts or time skips but feel free to point any out

It fades to black and transfers from day to night

Oh, I thought you meant something more serious than that

I also take advantage of the vast amount of free content on YouTube. As on YouTube you can watch the full SpaceBalls movie in HD for free and there isent even ads. I can even watch the full 2011 Peter Kay tour with no ads, it may not be HD but it’s still free and very funny.

Just accidentally caught the end of an episode of Only Fools and Horses after the actual ending.

Who thought carrying on after one of the best endings of all time was a good idea?!

Bill Bailey’s the lark rising on iplayer.

Call me a traitor, but I’ve been really enjoying the BBC’s crime thriller series on every Sunday 9pm, “Vigil”

I’m sticking with it. But really only out of morbid curiosity.

It’s certainly no Line of Duty.

The writing and plot is far lower quality.

I think actually the plot constraint of the submarine, holds it back.

I. Was not expecting that.
