What are you watching?

Memories of a murderer: The Nilsen Tapes.

It is dark as hell

Back to an old favourite tonight.

Mrs Tornado is out, so it’s Band of Brothers.

I’ve got the DVDs, but I recorded the whole series from Sky too

The Split.

I’m sure it’s a totally accurate reflection of Family Law, right @Farmerdan @Baldrick?!

Not seen it but if it involves people using their kids as weapons to hurt their ex rather than putting them first, making loads of false allegations against each other and lining the solicitors pockets every time they get het up about a minor slight, then yes it is accurate.

I avoid family stuff at all costs, I genuinely believe you see a worse side of human nature than in most criminal work.

You wanna try doing my job for a week

Please tell me you watched Des on ITV, too? David Tenant encapsulated that darkness perfectly

I agree with that wholeheartedly. Family clients are frequently conniving, manipulative, dishonest and vindictive. I gave it up to work with honest criminals.

I watched Split the other day. Very good

We watched both the 9/11 docs this week.
The first one was just different people with their stories about their experience in New York at the time, still harrowing, but pretty much heard this before.

The second one about how this unfolded for The President and the people around him. It was a fascinating insight to the behind the scenes of a day that started normally and in an instant changed. Now knowing the behind the scenes goings on seeing the initial coverage from the school and someone coming into to tell him a second plane had been crashed into the other tower and the change in his expression and how he handled the situation and not wanting to unnecessarily scare the children, has heightened my respect for him.

His resoluteness of thinking as to how it was going pan out from the outset of it being known to be a terrorist attack was imo how it should be.

It was outstanding

George W Bush is one of those Politicians who is going to be treated much better by history than he was at the time.

I dunno. I still think he could have made his polite excuses a little quicker when the first plane hit.

But noone cares about that, all the great and good want to know is what Obama was doing on 9/11 and why he didn’t do more.

Wasn’t he flying the first plane? But parachuted out at the last minute.

Probably wearing a tan suit as he did it.

Started binging One Day At A Time on Netflix while prepping uniform today, because I’m just that “with it” when it comes to TV

Grease that is all

Commiserations

Scrubs. For probably the fourth time.
