Just simply the fact that Buckles went from a trembling mess in his cell when he was being threatened, suddenly being billy-big-balls in that interview. Makes no sense! And then when he was asked about whether he and/or the chief constable had conspired to murder, and there was no answer given. They really have left it open for another season if they choose to.

Kind of. The season 5 ending is a bit meh too. But this just hit badly as there’s no confirmed next season!

LoD and GoT that have both really finished in a whimper.
Do you think the writers run out of steam and then just try and kill it?

The problem is where you write a show with twist and turns the audience don’t enjoy a final straight.
How many major TV shows have an ending that the fans loved? The Sopranos was slated for its ending back in the day.
I want to know when it was filmed - how long ago did the yellow seakings go out of service?
Too many good shows just don’t know when to quit. Scrubs ended well, then had another series, which was dire. The Big Bang Theory just dragged it out until people lost interest, I don’t even know how that ended. Friends got it about right. Brooklyn 99 needs to stop now really.
The problem with this episode was it’s pacing. Episode 6 had wrapped up a lot of loose ends and by the end of it, all of the active and known actors were all either in custody or dead. There were no real active threats left, nothing to chase. All we had to do was wait for Chloe to do the real detective work (again) and track the IP address of the messages.

The two aren’t even remotely comparable in length. There isn’t a rule for how long something can be good for.
I can honestly say this is one show I can watch time and time again. It’s nice, easy watching particularly when relaxing in bed and you may fall asleep.
I thought the ending was brilliant when - SNIP - and it cut to them SNIP. It ends with an acoustic version of the theme tune and that’s it. I still get emotional being the sad act that I am

Ok so there was 2 extra seasons in GoT with 8 rather than 6 but they both built up a big fan following, massive hype and build up then the last season the hype went mental and then…. A whimper rather than a bang
They did what now?
I didn’t even know they’d killed the show off tbh. No idea where I was up to in terms of season.
We all need to stop this before someone lets out that Bruce Willis was a ghost or that Quirrel had Voldemort chilling out on the back of his skull.
