A drift back in time to the 80s and the 1981 Royal Institute Christmas Lectures. This year it was given by probably one of the greatest members of the scientific intelligence community the UK has ever produced, Prof R V Jones. It is said that when he lectured at Aberdeen University, the lecture hall was packed to capacity with so many people who were not his students.
One Air Marshall Sir Harold Martin describing how the calculations for the Dam’s attack were worked out and how it was applied.

First real memory of the modern RAF on tele fighting anything (& as a new RAF cadet at the time it felt quite realistic at the time at least to begin with)
I vaguely remember this but never watched it properly. Was also an air cadet at the time of airing.
Finished slow horses. Need the next season now

As a kid remember it being great as it hand pretty much every a of the RAF incorporated & no other armed service involved.
Even the RAF regiment (& there rapier batteries!) get involved.
Awesome show which is one of Apples highlights.
Although you will know start to colloquially refer to certain sqns as “slow horses”

Alien: Earth is excellent so far.
I watched the programmes about a Japanese pottery restoration master over the last few weeks. It showed the gentleman and his son doing the most incredible work.
Alien Earth is fantastic.
Mrs 1324 is a proper critic and ultimate Alien fan girl, so she was ready to rip it apart. It’s been excellent thus far…

Murderbot is a good dark comedy sci-fi that is definitely worth watching.
Imagine red dwarfs kryten but security focused rather than cleaning crossed with H2G2 Marvin & you start to get the vibe
