What are you watching?

What were your thoughts regarding severance? I didn’t get on with it but hearing good things so not sure to give it another shot….

Mixed I’d say, I enjoyed it but the wife didn’t…

I think overall though the production quality on it was incredible and so was the premise, shame the storyline wasn’t as good

Cannot stop turning it all over in my head. I think my wife is going to buy me the books. Fantastic series and anyone yet to start has an amazing binge incoming!

It’s trippy and if “bizarre” doesn’t automatically sustain you, you need to consciously stick through those first few episodes (exactly what I had to say to friends about those first few episodes of WandaVision).

But Lordy is that one hell of a finale…

Severance is amazing, and what a brilliant concept.

Edit: I literally rewatched the last 10 minutes or so of Severance Series 1 countless times. Just the way it was filmed and the breathtaking suspense was something I needed to watch over and over just to get it out of my system. Fantastic storytelling.

So Section 31 appears to be terrible, I’ve only watched the first 20 minutes and it’s just awful. I will finish it, but god it’s bad.

“High potential” on Disney+ was an unexpectedly great first episode.

And obviously, Severance is still on point.

Watching the Heritage Orchestra taking on 20 Ibiza classics… Whilst scrolling to see if there’s any tickets for them for this summer!

By sheer chance, we started watching “Ryan Trahan” on Amazon Prime, after it started auto-playing after something else…

Starting with his first series where he attempts to cross the US, starting with just a penny… to get to Mr Beast, and to present him with a penny…

Being the other side of 50c I’d never heard of Ryan Trahan - but apparently he’s big(ish) on SnapTokYouTwitFace or which ever social media the sprogs are watching these days…

Like many other adults we’ve mentioned this series to, we all agreed that the number one thing we kept shouting at the TV was “eat a vegetable - for once!”

The premise is that Ryan has 1 cent - from that he is able to buy and trade, to make money to fund his accommodation, meals and travel…

It feels a bit set up and staged at times - until a few philanthropic moments cause problems.

I won’t spoil the story for you - but well worth a watch if you want something very feel good to watch!

Looking for a new series to watch (severance kinda needs a run up)

So watching the Newsroom again. Forgotten both how well written & the emotional gut punches from the historic events (just finished the Bin Laden episode)

Even though the episode name made it clear what was going to be happening in this episode, I didn’t think it would be so emotional.

A fantastic tribute to Sqn Ldr Mark Long. That episode really shows how great he was.

Was Struggling to find a new series to put on the tele.

Spooks popped up so put it on - what a different time!

Also when you recognise & know exactly where the scenes were filmed for MI5 HQ were filmed!

Hmm…I wonder how you recognise the location.

I did nearly tag - but didn’t.

Best recognition is still the toilets in the death of Stalin! IYKYK

Zero Day on Netflix holding a mirror up to the state of American political discourse.

Good watch and a mini series, so doesn’t drag on.

Just starting the new Bergerac on U.

Just watching crufts in general. Not really been that interested in the past but finding it quite easy & chilled out tele.

Been watching Over Lord (anime), not bad at all.

Comic relief / Red Nose Day…

Not as nearly as funny as it use to be but I think that’s because it’s presenters are professional presenters & not stand up comedians.

The in memorium bit showed what comic greats we’ve lost & how funny to old skits use to be.
