What are you listening to....?

So We Have Ways have just done an 8 part special on the 80th anniversary of Market Garden, lots I didn’t know particularly around how incompetent the planning and running of 1st airborne was.

How do you have an Airborne Division with no succesion plan for the Divisional Commander (he made one up on the back of a fag packet as he got on the glider and didn’t tell the 3 Brigadiers) leading to 2 Brigadiers having a row over who was in charge and who was going to do what during the battle!

I really haven’t listened to much music at all this year, but I feel less offended by YT than I did last year!

I do most of my listening on Amazon these days but still use Spotify when too many devices are using Amazon music.

Nothing surprising on there.

The Florida Aerospace Camp ruined me and got me on a bit of a Country & Western hype this year :joy:

Well, it is Christmas week, so I’m breaking out the former UK Christmas Number 1 singles, including this one from 2009 - a time when many current cadets weren’t yet born.

Language warning.

2009 was about stopping the X-factor but Christmas is meant to be about family & fun times so I will counter your 2009 with 1993

I know someone in the Mr Blobby video; it’s been 31 years of well deserved taking the ‘p’ out of him for it

You know Jeremy Clarkson!?

Fortunately not! :joy: :joy:

The Peruvian Christmas Medley, wherever I go, whether I want to or not…

Just got a local version of an Uber, but this is a “comfort” version.

Still no working seatbelts, the seats are torn and most things are dirty. But, music is now western rather than Latin.

So currently we’re bombing down the Pan-American blasting out Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life.

I think I’ve found a new favorite genre for when I’m working, but not really sure it has a single name. Electric Callboy is a perfect example though. A mix of metal, screamo, techno metalcore/electrocore.

It’s like Architects (who are great) but added techno!

Electric Callboy are “electronicore” apparently :stuck_out_tongue: they’re great though! Awesome live.
