I’ve heard “soon” being described by various sources as anything from June 22 to Mar 23.
With “imminent” being May 22…
I would hardly describe either of those timelines as befitting the correct definition of ‘soon’ and certainly not ‘imminent’!
LEARN cannot come ‘soon’ enough… but I hardly think it is ‘imminent’ no matter how much we all now need it.

A Sqn OneDrive wouldn’t be the appropriate way to solve that… The same content duplicated 1000 times.
Sqn stored files should only be squadron specific. Remember also that you have the ability to share files with cadets via the “files” section in SMS.
The correct approach of course is to provide open access to the HQ materials for cadets. Easily done with a bit of work in the same way that access is provided for cadets to various ACPs &c.

Good point, I don’t think Sqns would be copying everything to OneDrive (ok some might)
But if we had a OneDrive per Sqn as we did before Pers accs, we could determine who sees what (by sharing to Pers accs or specific PCs). The sqn files section on SMS is shared to all Cadets, whereas I just want to share to instructors.
In the list of Digital Priorities it’s sat alongside Universe > JPA (Hard deadline of 31 Mar 22) and change of hosting infrastructure.
So it needs to be slotted in whereby the deployment can be managed as can the support queries it may raise, with the limited resource available to the team.
Yes, of course.
My version of soon can be defined as *hoping it’s launching by easter lol
Yeah, that’s true… Sharing control over the Sqn files (and Wing files as well in particular) would be dead handy.
But the instructors can all log into SharePoint themselves and access the Cadet Training Portal
Not instructor cadets under 18
