Huh. It’s in there in the current ACP 31.
All Officers, and Civilian Instructors are to be addressed as ‘Sir or Ma’am’. Cadet Warrant Officers are to be addressed as ‘Warrant Officer’ and all other cadets by their rank, ‘Flight Sergeant’, ‘Sergeant’ or ‘Corporal’, as the case may be.

Not so keen on ‘Flight Sergeant’ when everyone outside of the ATC (including Army and RN) just says ‘Flight’.
Only the same as “colour” though.
I suppose everyone could say “warrant”. Better than “cadet warrant”!

Warrant is what we said when I was a cadet, but then I went over to the ACF where cadets called the Cdt Sgt Maj ‘sir’ and we called him ’CSM’. Of course, he still had two promotions to go at that point, to Cadet Under Officer (addressed by staff as ‘Mr …’) and all before he had to leave at 18 …

So are we permitted to wear those rank slides or are they not regulation and to stick with the old issued ones ?
If the only difference is the crown then I can’t see how anyone could have a problem with it. On the other hand, if it’s an obvious chip shop fake …

for now stick with St Edwards, as all the Tudor slides will be unnofficial and gash, The RAF Hasn’t transitiioned yet
I do know of one RAF WO with a Tudor crown rank badge (but only on one side!) and have started to see aviators with the new cap badge.

No, he was on the Coronation parade and was issued a badge for the arm facing outwards towards the crowd only (due to availability).
Back on the aboninations of a AWO rank slide in opening post - spotted these on Contact Left.
How are we feeling about these, if CFAVs might need to buy more rankslides anyway? Worth the extra £1?
The FS ones look alright actually,
The “AWO” would never get worn anyway
but the WO slide that every WO would wear still has St Edwards Crown

FS looks better than the St Edward’s crown ones; however, the crown does look a bit small and it’s still too low (and the wrong colour).
Those FS ones are warped.
The chevrons aren’t even.
