Just tried the link and it didn’t work. Seems to be blocked to non staff member accounts
as a staff cadet I still have access via my CIN@rafac.mod.gov.uk account, but the moment I try to access anywhere outside the Training Portal it’s blocked and i gotta switch to the sqn generic account to regain access.
Ask your unit staff to download the space course to a PC or USB and complete it that way. Keep a screenshot of the course complete screen as evidence - then ask your staff to create a certificate and update your training record.
Ive managed to get proof of Blue and Bronze Exploring but although I can access the Moon module it won’t regard as complete. Typical Ultilearn
I just tried the link again and it let me in. Said access denied before not sure what up with that maybe my account didnt switch properly

The intention AFAIK is that cadets should not have access to the training hub. It was accidental that they had access in the first place.
It’s quite crazy that training materials were actively removed from Ultilearn so that they are all in one place (Training Portal, SPOL) so that there was only one location to stop the use of out of date information. What this has instead caused is every squadron to locally download a copy of what is needed, and use that. Meaning rather than it being in two places, it’s now got loads of duplications.
Yep, just had it confirmed by some of my cadets that they can log in.
Are staff logging in with their old service numbers or new ones? Trying to log in with my old one and it works, but then says “You have not been authorised yet to access that part of the Learning System that you have just requested.”
Still using old numbers, (unless you never had one)
Sounds like broken permissions, one for the Bader poc/heldesk I think

Done RFI course, passed, but Ultilearn not recording result.
How do I report
I wouldn’t bother. Keep your certificate or upload to SMS and wait for someone to query it.
It is at best 50:50 whether the system records a result for RFI and it seems random whether it works or not, after multiple attempts.
When is learn coming?
The one change that will save the biggest headache:
A learning/exam platform that works.
And.
Allows cadets one log in (same as their cadet portal) with self service password reset.

I have asked that several times and each time get spoken to like a simpleton.
Careful… the IT peeps dont like a light being shone on them, unless its all going swell.
Generally speaking they have been doing a great job of reducing admin burden.
However, goodwill only goes so far.
I’m impressed by our volunteers and this is no criticism of them. The paid staff should be pushing this through.
I now actually laugh out loud when you hear on the radio presenters calling to bring in the military to sort things out, or calling on “military precision”.
It’s overdue. Squadrons are getting fed up, the CCF want to use it. Cadets can’t access materials or do exams. It’s not fit for purpose - probably much like the bulk of the civil service.
Get on with it, or do us all a favour and leave, so someone capable can do the job instead.
