In other news, the population of the USA is about to decrease by 3-400, the world has some new millionaires, airlines will see a slight spike in flights to Russia and China, and NK and Iran are about to make breakthroughs and show credible progress in their nuclear programmes.

It appears that Trump has turned to victim blaming, blaming Ukraine for being invaded and not surrendering to Russia. Also just pulling numbers out of the air, saying President Zelensky’s approval rating is 4%, when in reality it is higher than Trump’s. I used to consider people that follow him “misguided”, but from this point on I will just consider them bad people. I hope world leaders have the courage to publicly call him out on this.

I feel like the US are going to create a ‘peace deal’ which will be incredibly unfavourable to Ukraine. And then when Ukraine obviously and rightfully reject it, they’ll use that to make Ukraine look like the warmongerer, rather than Russia. I hope European leaders get on top of this quickly.

Yeah that is exactly it, he can then use that as an excuse to cut off US support. The European nations need to make it very clear that they will support Ukraine with or without the US.

i suspect they wont as he (POTUS) will react with tariffs and other ways to punish the Leaders Country (after slagging them off with fake news first of course)

Someone said higher up in this thread that America has made their decision, and we need to respect that. If that means that global relations with America start to crumble, so be it. So long as our relations with everyone else can stay strong or even get stronger.
If Americans get more and more isolated, then they may start realising that Trumps way of doing things is not the best way.

If it was only affecting them, I could. Unfortunately, he’s gone too far, and I will not respect anyone who voted for Trump. Ever.
Fortunately, X is getting louder with dissent, at least it seems like it from my point of view.

Yeah, it’s too extreme.
I certainly consider my self left wing. But at least in the UK I can sit and have a conversation with those who voted Tory, or even Reform. I don’t agree with it overall, but we can talk and discuss issues and find some middle ground. And still be friends afterwards. I can understand their viewpoints and vice versa.
With Trump voters/MAGAts, I really can’t do the above. There’s possibly some logic in there, but it’s mostly just horribleness and/or complete misinformation and/or a complete misunderstanding of how things work.
